THE FISHERY
Dunlichity Trout Fishery is set within the 12 acres of Dunlichity House, just 7 miles south of the Highland capital of Inverness.

The fishery consists of 2 lochans, the larger of which is approximately 3 acres; the other being approximately one acre. Both lochans are well stocked with a rainbow and brown trout, generally varying in size from 2lb to 10lb, although larger fish have been caught.

Fly fishing only is available on the lochans (barbless hooks), and experienced fly fishermen and beginners are both welcome.

In keeping with our desire to encourage beginners, children under 14 years of age receive a 50% discount on sporting tickets when fishing with an adult.

Our aim is to give every angler an experience and quality of fishing second to none.

FACILITIES
Ample car parking facilities are available, adjacent to the lochans.

There is a fully equipped bothy with log burning stove and toilet facilities. Tea, coffee, and microwave facilities are also available.

Two large outside sinks allow you to clean your catch before you take it home.

Good quality fishing tackle is available for hire; and tuition can be arranged by appointment.

We can cater for business events, and inter-Club competitions.

Fish weights at Dunlichity Trout Fishery start at 1.75lb to 20lb, all fish are in fabulous condition. Catches are consistently into double figured bags, with one angler in February 2006 catching 50 fish in 4 hours. Could you beat this?

OPENING HOURS
We are open all year, from 9.00am and close at dark.
For business events and competitions, floodlit fishing can be arranged in the winter.
